Rated 5 Stars| Nationwide Service | Freshness Guaranteed
Good Elf delivers real Christmas trees across Middlesbrough. We have done it since 2004. Every tree is cut to order from British farms and brought straight to your door. We cover TS1 to TS8. Delivery from £5.95 on smaller packages. Next-day delivery available. For christmas trees Middlesbrough families trust, Good Elf delivers fresh.
A fresh cut tree drinks well and holds its needles for weeks. Nothing sits in a cold store waiting for an order. That is the difference between a real Christmas tree that still looks good on Christmas Day and one that has dropped half its needles by week two.
Every tree comes from the same premium grade stock. We do not split our supply into budget and premium lines. You get the best we have. Twenty years of December deliveries to Linthorpe, Acklam and Marton stand behind every tree we send out.
Your tree travels by national courier and arrives before 2pm on your chosen date. We do not offer tracking. Call us after 10am on the day on 0203 519 9997 for an estimated arrival time. If you are out, the courier leaves it somewhere safe.
Choose Your Middlesbrough Christmas Tree
Shop Nordmann FirNordmann Fir
Our most popular tree. Soft needles, even shape, excellent needle retention. The Nordmann Fir holds its needles for weeks. You can sweep up after Christmas without finding piles on the floor. Full shape, no scent. Good for homes with children or pets.
Shop Norway SpruceNorway Spruce
The classic Christmas tree with a lovely scent. Needle drop is faster than the Nordmann so keep it watered from day one. Strong branches hold heavy decorations well. Lower price and a traditional look. The right choice if the scent matters to you.

If you would rather choose a tree in person, Middlesbrough has good local options. Windlebridge Garden Nursery stocks real Christmas trees through the season and takes pre-orders. Maynards Nursery and Cherry Hill Garden Centre both carry cut trees in December for those who like to pick their own. Some garden centres around the town also keep potted trees you can plant out and use again next year.
For a fresh tree brought to your door on the day you name, Good Elf is the easy choice. No car, no roof rack, no queue.
Caring For Your Middlesbrough Christmas Tree
Take a fresh cut off the base before you stand the tree. About an inch is enough. This reopens the vessels that sealed during transport and lets the tree drink. Fill the stand with water on day one and top it up every day. A tree in a warm room can drink a litre a day.
Keep the tree away from radiators and direct sun. Heat dries a tree out fast. The slower it dries, the less needle drop you see. A fresh tree kept well can last six weeks. If yours goes up on the 1st of December, it should still look good on Christmas Day.
The Norway Spruce needs more water than the Nordmann. Check the stand every morning. If the base runs dry even for a day, the tree seals over and stops drinking. Once it stops drinking, needle drop speeds up. Top the water up before bed and again when you wake.
After Christmas, Middlesbrough Council collects real Christmas trees for recycling in January. Check the council website for your local drop-off point or collection date. Remove all decorations and tinsel first. You can also compost a real tree at home if you have the space. It breaks down fast and feeds the soil for next year.
Middlesbrough at Christmas
Middlesbrough fills with festive life in December. Centre Square lights up and the shops in the town centre draw crowds from across Teesside. The Transporter Bridge stands over the Tees while families head into town for the season. A real tree at home rounds it off.
Christmas Lights Switch-On and Parade
The Middlesbrough lights switch-on takes place in Centre Square in late November. A festive parade winds through the town centre with floats and characters, then the stage programme builds to the big switch-on. Market stalls and live music fill the square through the afternoon.
Santa's Grotto in Centre Square
Santa sets up his grotto in Centre Square through December. Families book a visit, and children take home a small gift. The Shine On Boro light installations dot the streets around the square, free to walk round in the evenings.
Christmas Market and Fairs
Market stalls run in the town centre across the festive weeks with local traders, hot food and gifts. Smaller craft fairs and church fayres pop up around Middlesbrough through December, so there is plenty to fill a weekend before Christmas.
