Good Elf delivers real Christmas trees across Hull. We have done it since 2004. Every tree is freshly cut to order from British farms and brought straight to your door. For Christmas trees Hull families can rely on, we deliver fresh across East Yorkshire.
A fresh cut tree drinks well and holds its needles for weeks. Nothing sits in a cold store waiting for an order. That is the difference between a tree that still looks good on Christmas Day and one that has dropped half its needles by week two.
Your tree travels by national courier and usually arrives before 2pm on your chosen date. If you are out, the courier follows your note to leave it safe. Call us on 0203 519 9997 if you want a hand choosing. We deliver to homes, flats, offices and businesses across Hull and East Yorkshire.
Every tree comes from the same premium grade stock. We do not split our supply into budget and premium lines. You get the best we have. Twenty years of December deliveries to Hull and East Yorkshire stand behind every tree we send out.
Choose Your Hull Christmas Tree
Shop Nordmann FirNordmann Fir
Our most popular tree. Soft needles, even shape, excellent needle retention. The Nordmann Fir holds its needles for weeks. You can sweep up after Christmas without finding piles on the floor. Full shape, no scent. Good for homes with children or pets.
Shop Norway SpruceNorway Spruce
The classic Christmas tree with a lovely scent. Needle drop is faster than the Nordmann so keep it watered from day one. Strong branches hold heavy decorations well. Lower price and a traditional look. The right choice if the scent matters to you.

If you would rather choose a tree in person, East Yorkshire has a few options. Hull Christmas Trees on Riplingham Road, off Kirk Ella, brings in thousands of trees each year alongside wreaths. East Riding Christmas Trees at Tithe Farm, North Ferriby, grows Nordmann Fir and Norway Spruce just off the A63 on the edge of the city.
Newsholme Christmas Trees near Howden runs a choose-and-cut field and sells potted Christmas trees too, a little further out. Those are all good for a day out. The trade-off is the drive, the queue and the car roof. With Good Elf, a fresh tree arrives at your Hull door on the day you pick. That is the easy way to do it.
Caring For Your Hull Christmas Tree
Take a fresh cut off the base before you stand the tree. About an inch is enough. This reopens the vessels that sealed during transport and lets the tree drink. Fill the stand with water on day one and top it up every day. A tree in a warm room can drink a litre a day.
Keep the tree away from radiators and direct sun. Heat dries a tree out fast. The slower it dries, the less needle drop you see. A fresh tree kept well can last six weeks. If yours goes up on the 1st of December, it should still look good on Christmas Day.
The Norway Spruce needs more water than the Nordmann. Check the stand every morning. If the base runs dry even for a day, the tree seals over and stops drinking. Once it stops drinking, needle drop speeds up. Top the water up before bed and again when you wake.
After Christmas, Hull City Council collects real Christmas trees in early January. Check the council website for collection dates in your area. Remove all decorations and tinsel first. You can also compost a real tree at home if you have the space. It breaks down fast and feeds the soil.
From Kirk Ella to the Old Town, Hull and the wider East Riding get the same fresh trees cut to order. The Nordmann Fir gives excellent needle retention, so it keeps the festive spirit going long past Christmas Day. We deliver across East Yorkshire with a national courier.
Hull at Christmas
Hull knows how to mark Christmas. The Old Town, Trinity Market and the city centre all fill with lights and stalls. The cobbled lanes feel made for December. A real Christmas tree at home rounds it off.
Hull Christmas Market
Hull holds a Christmas market in the city centre and around Trinity Market through December. Stalls sell food, craft and mulled wine. The city lights switch on in November with a free event in Queen Victoria Square.
Old Town and the Ferens
The Old Town and Humber Street run late-night shopping and food events in December. The Ferens Art Gallery puts on winter shows. Hull Minster holds carol services in the week before Christmas.

Are your Christmas Trees fresh cut?
Yes. Every tree is freshly cut to order from British farms and delivered direct. We hold no stock in cold storage. A fresh cut tree lasts far longer than one cut weeks earlier and holds its needles through Christmas. The ten-year growing cycle means every tree has had time to develop before it reaches you.
