A fresh cut tree drinks well and holds its needles for weeks. Nothing sits in a cold store waiting for an order. That is the difference between a tree that still looks good on Christmas Day and one that has dropped half its needles by week two.
Every tree comes from the same premium grade stock. We do not split our supply into budget and premium lines. You get quality Christmas trees and the best we have. Twenty years of December deliveries to Rising Brook, Castletown and Weeping Cross stand behind every real Christmas tree we send out.
Your tree travels by national courier and arrives before 2pm on your chosen date. We do not offer tracking. Call us after 10am on the day on 0203 519 9997 for an estimated arrival time. If you are out, the courier leaves it somewhere safe.
Choose Your Stafford Christmas Tree
Shop Nordmann FirNordmann Fir
Our most popular tree. Soft needles, even shape, excellent needle retention. The Nordmann Fir holds its needles for weeks. You can sweep up after Christmas without finding piles on the floor. Full shape, no scent. Good for homes with children or pets.
Shop Norway SpruceNorway Spruce
The classic Christmas tree with a lovely scent. Needle drop is faster than the Nordmann so keep it watered from day one. Strong branches hold heavy decorations well. Lower price and a traditional look. The right choice if the scent matters to you.

Caring For Your Stafford Christmas Tree
Take a fresh cut off the base before you stand the tree. About an inch is enough. This reopens the vessels that sealed during transport and lets the tree drink. Fill the stand with water on day one and top it up every day. A tree in a warm room can drink a litre a day.
Keep the tree away from radiators and direct sun. Heat dries a tree out fast. The slower it dries, the less needle drop you see. A fresh tree kept well can last six weeks. If yours goes up on the 1st of December, it should still look good on Christmas Day.
The Norway Spruce needs more water than the Nordmann. Check the stand every morning. If the base runs dry even for a day, the tree seals over and stops drinking. Once it stops drinking, needle drop speeds up. Top the water up before bed and again when you wake.
After Christmas, Stafford Borough Council runs real Christmas tree recycling in January. Check the council website for your local drop-off points and collection dates. Remove all decorations and tinsel first. You can also compost a real tree at home if you have the space. It breaks down fast and feeds the soil for next year.
Stafford at Christmas
Stafford makes the most of the festive season. The Market Square and Greengate Street fill with lights, and the timber-framed Ancient High House looks the part under a winter sky. Shoppers come in from across the county, and the Gatehouse Theatre pantomime runs through December. A real tree at home rounds it off.
Stafford Christmas Lights Switch On
The Stafford Christmas Lights Switch On lights up the Market Square in late November. Music, market stalls and festive entertainment fill the town centre, and Santa joins the big switch-on at dusk. The Guildhall sits at the heart of the day with its own programme.
St Mary's Christmas Tree Festival
St Mary's Church holds a Christmas Tree Festival from early December. Local groups decorate dozens of trees inside the church, and the display runs alongside carol services in the run-up to Christmas. A festive farmers' market sets up in town through the month too.
Santa's Parade and Carols
Santa's Christmas Parade runs through the Guildhall Shopping Centre, and carol services fill churches across Stafford in the weeks before Christmas. Check local listings for the current programme.
