Because you only order trees that parents have already paid for, there is no risk of unsold stock. For any uncollected trees, send a clear message to families with a second collection window. A pre-order model eliminates virtually all risk.
Do we need special equipment or storage?
Very simple requirements. You need covered space to hold trees briefly on delivery day. A school hall, sports hall, or covered entrance works well. Trees arrive in nets which makes them easy to handle. Parent volunteers can manage distribution without any specialist equipment.
