For Christmas trees Manchester families can rely on, Good Elf delivers fresh from British farms.

A fresh cut tree drinks well and holds its needles for weeks. Nothing sits in a cold store waiting for an order. That is the difference between a tree that still looks good on Christmas Day and one that has dropped half its needles by week two.

Your tree travels by national courier and usually arrives before 2pm on your chosen date. If you are out, the courier follows your note to leave it safe. Call us on 0203 519 9997 if you want a hand choosing. We deliver to homes, flats, offices and businesses across Greater Manchester.

Every tree comes from the same premium grade stock. We do not split our supply into budget and premium lines. You get the best we have. Twenty years of December deliveries to Manchester, Didsbury and Chorlton stand behind every tree we send out.

Choose Your Manchester Christmas Tree

Nordmann Fir Christmas trees ManchesterShop Nordmann Fir

Nordmann Fir

Our most popular tree. Soft needles, even shape, excellent needle retention. The Nordmann Fir holds its needles for weeks. You can sweep up after Christmas without finding piles on the floor. Full shape, no scent. Good for homes with children or pets.

Norway Spruce Christmas trees ManchesterShop Norway Spruce

Norway Spruce

The classic Christmas tree with a lovely scent. Needle drop is faster than the Nordmann so keep it watered from day one. Strong branches hold heavy decorations well. Lower price and a traditional look. The right choice if the scent matters to you.

Caring For Your Manchester Christmas Tree

Take a fresh cut off the base before you stand the tree. About an inch is enough. This reopens the vessels that sealed during transport and lets the tree drink. Fill the stand with water on day one and top it up every day. A tree in a warm room can drink a litre a day.

Keep the tree away from radiators and direct sun. Heat dries a tree out fast. The slower it dries, the less needle drop you see. A fresh tree kept well can last six weeks. If yours goes up on the 1st of December, it should still look good on Christmas Day.

The Norway Spruce needs more water than the Nordmann. Check the stand every morning. If the base runs dry even for a day, the tree seals over and stops drinking. Once it stops drinking, needle drop speeds up. Top the water up before bed and again when you wake.

After Christmas, Manchester City Council collects real Christmas trees in early January. Check the council website for collection dates in your area. Remove all decorations and tinsel first. You can also compost a real tree at home if you have the space. It breaks down fast and feeds the soil.

Are your Christmas Trees fresh cut?

Yes. Every tree is freshly cut to order from British farms and delivered direct. We hold no stock in cold storage. A fresh cut tree lasts far longer than one cut weeks earlier and holds its needles through Christmas. The ten-year growing cycle means every tree has had time to develop before it reaches you.

Where do your Manchester Christmas Trees come from?
