Rated 5 Stars| Nationwide Service | Freshness Guaranteed
Good Elf delivers real Christmas trees across Bristol. We have done it since 2004. Every tree is cut to order from British farms and brought straight to your door. We cover BS1 to BS16. Delivery from £5.95 on smaller packages. Next-day delivery available. For christmas trees Bristol families trust, Good Elf delivers fresh.
A fresh cut tree drinks well and holds its needles for weeks. Nothing sits in a cold store waiting for an order. That is the difference between a tree that still looks good on Christmas Day and one that has dropped half its needles by week two.
Every tree comes from the same premium grade stock. We do not split our supply into budget and premium lines. You get the best we have. Twenty years of December deliveries to Clifton, Bedminster and Bishopston stand behind every tree we send out.
Your tree travels by national courier and arrives before 2pm on your chosen date. We do not offer tracking. Call us after 10am on the day on 0203 519 9997 for an estimated arrival time. If you are out, the courier leaves it somewhere safe.
Choose Your Bristol Christmas Tree
Shop Nordmann FirNordmann Fir
Our most popular tree. Soft needles, even shape, excellent needle retention. The Nordmann Fir holds its needles for weeks. You can sweep up after Christmas without finding piles on the floor. Full shape, no scent. Good for homes with children or pets.
Shop Norway SpruceNorway Spruce
The classic Christmas tree with a lovely scent. Needle drop is faster than the Nordmann so keep it watered from day one. Strong branches hold heavy decorations well. Lower price and a traditional look. The right choice if the scent matters to you.

If you would rather choose a tree in person, the country around Bristol has good farms within reach. Frenchay Christmas Tree Farm on Old Gloucester Road runs a choose-and-cut field in BS16, open daily from late November. Sheepway Christmas Trees has grown and cut trees at Portbury since 1985 and covers Bristol and Somerset. Cleeve Nursery on the A370 stocks fresh cut trees and potted trees you can plant out after the season. Several garden centres around the city carry cut trees through December too.
For a fresh tree brought to your door on the day you name, Good Elf is the easy choice. No car, no roof rack, no queue.
Caring For Your Bristol Christmas Tree
Take a fresh cut off the base before you stand the tree. About an inch is enough. This reopens the vessels that sealed during transport and lets the tree drink. Fill the stand with water on day one and top it up every day. A tree in a warm room can drink a litre a day.
Keep the tree away from radiators and direct sun. Heat dries a tree out fast. The slower it dries, the less needle drop you see. A fresh tree kept well can last six weeks. If yours goes up on the 1st of December, it should still look good on Christmas Day.
The Norway Spruce needs more water than the Nordmann. Check the stand every morning. If the base runs dry even for a day, the tree seals over and stops drinking. Once it stops drinking, needle drop speeds up. Top the water up before bed and again when you wake.
After Christmas, Bristol Waste collects real Christmas trees from the kerbside in January. Leave yours out where you put your normal bins and check the Bristol City Council website for your date. Remove all decorations and tinsel first. St Peter's Hospice runs a charity tree collection across the city for a donation. You can also compost a real tree at home if you have the space. It breaks down fast and feeds the soil for next year.
Bristol at Christmas
Bristol comes alive in December. The harbourside lights reflect on the water and the streets up to Clifton fill with shoppers. Cabot Circus and Broadmead draw crowds from across the West Country. The Clifton Suspension Bridge and Cabot Tower stand over a city that knows how to mark the festive season. A real tree at home rounds it off.
Bristol Christmas Market
The Bristol Christmas Market runs through the city centre from early November to late December. Wooden chalets line Broadmead and the surrounding streets. Stalls sell hot food, mulled wine, gifts and seasonal goods. Entry is free and the market is busy at weekends, so a weekday visit is calmer.
Ice Rink and Big Wheel
Millennium Square and Anchor Square host an ice rink and a big observation wheel from mid-November. The wheel gives a clear view over the harbour and the city lights. Food and drink chalets sit around the square for a warm-up after the ice.
Carols at Bristol Cathedral
Bristol Cathedral holds carol services through December, including a family carols afternoon and a Nine Lessons and Carols service in the week before Christmas. Churches across the city run their own carol nights too. Check the cathedral website for the current programme.
