Good Elf delivers real christmas trees across Birmingham. We have done it since 2004. Every tree is freshly cut to order from British farms and brought straight to your door. We cover B1, B2, B13, B14, B15, B16, B17, B20, B21 and B72. Delivery from £5.95. Next-day delivery available. For christmas trees Birmingham families can count on, Good Elf delivers fresh from British farms.
A fresh cut tree drinks well and holds its needles for weeks. Nothing sits in a cold store waiting for an order. That is the difference between a tree that still looks good on Christmas Day and one that has dropped half its needles by week two.
Your tree travels by tracked courier with a tracking link, and usually arrives before 2pm on your chosen date. If you are out, the courier follows your note to leave it safe. Call us on 0203 519 9997 if you want a hand choosing. We deliver to homes, flats, offices and businesses across Birmingham and the West Midlands.
Every tree comes from the same premium grade stock. We do not split our supply into budget and premium lines. You get the best we have. Twenty years of December deliveries to Birmingham, Edgbaston and Sutton Coldfield stand behind every tree we send out.
Choose Your Birmingham Christmas Tree
Shop Nordmann FirNordmann Fir
Our most popular tree. Soft needles, even shape, excellent needle retention. The Nordmann Fir holds its needles for weeks. You can sweep up after Christmas without finding piles on the floor. Full shape, no scent. Good for homes with children or pets.
Shop Norway SpruceNorway Spruce
The classic christmas tree with a lovely scent. Needle drop is faster than the Nordmann so keep it watered from day one. Strong branches hold heavy decorations well. Lower price and a traditional look. The right choice if the scent matters to you.

Where To Buy a Christmas Tree in Birmingham
Garden centres around Sutton Coldfield and the Cheshire side of the city sell trees each December. They are worth a look if you want to choose in person. Good Elf delivers a fresh tree from British farms direct to your door across Birmingham and the West Midlands. No car, no roof rack, no queue.
We have supplied christmas trees to homes and businesses across Birmingham for twenty years. We work with the same British growers year after year and take premium grade stock only. Caring For Your Birmingham Christmas Tree
Take a fresh cut off the base before you stand the tree. About an inch is enough. This reopens the vessels that sealed during transport and lets the tree drink. Fill the stand with water on day one and top it up every day. A tree in a warm room can drink a litre a day.
Keep the tree away from radiators and direct sun. Heat dries a tree out fast. The slower it dries, the less needle drop you see. A fresh tree kept well can last six weeks. If yours goes up on the 1st of December, it should still look good on Christmas Day.
The Norway Spruce needs more water than the Nordmann. Check the stand every morning. If the base runs dry even for a day, the tree seals over and stops drinking. Once it stops drinking, needle drop speeds up. Top the water up before bed and again when you wake.
After Christmas, Birmingham City Council collects real christmas trees in early January. Check the council website for collection dates in your area. Remove all decorations and tinsel first. You can also compost a real tree at home if you have the space. It breaks down fast and feeds the soil.
Woods Farm on Highbridge Road near Sutton Coldfield sells trees each December, and so does Hall's Garden Centre. A garden centre tree can sit on a forecourt for weeks before you take it home. Ours is cut to order, so it arrives fresh. The Norway Spruce is the traditional scented pick and the Norway Spruce and Nordmann Fir both grow well in British soil. We also supply pot grown trees in smaller sizes for flats and offices across the West Midlands.
Birmingham at Christmas
Birmingham puts on a real show in December. The city centre, the Bullring and the canals around Brindleyplace all light up. The German market draws crowds from across the West Midlands. A real christmas tree at home rounds it off.
Frankfurt Christmas Market
The Frankfurt Christmas Market runs along New Street and Victoria Square through December. It is the largest authentic German market outside Germany and Austria. Stalls sell bratwurst, stollen and mulled wine under the lights.
City Centre Lights and the Bullring
Victoria Square and the Bullring switch on their lights in November. Sutton Coldfield and the suburbs hold their own late-night shopping and carol nights. Several Birmingham churches and the cathedral run carol services in the week before Christmas.

Are your christmas trees fresh cut?
Yes. Every tree is freshly cut to order from British farms and delivered direct. We hold no stock in cold storage. A fresh cut tree lasts far longer than one cut weeks earlier and holds its needles through Christmas. The ten-year growing cycle means every tree has had time to develop before it reaches you.
Where do your Birmingham christmas trees come from?
We source from British farms only. Trees are cut to order and delivered direct. We have worked with the same growers for many years and take premium grade stock only. Every tree goes through a ten-year growing cycle before harvest, and a new sapling is planted for each one we sell.
